For those uninitiates...there is a world of heavy rock and roll out there known as Stoner rock. The criteraia are hypnotic grooves, droning-trancelike melodies and and an emphasis on loosing yourself in the musical moment, and heavy kick-ass guitars. Well, this would fulfill every criteria except the heavy guitars part. This is the non-heavy equivalent of stoner rock. The music is quite simply, amazing. A combination of acoustic instrumentation and electronic textures that move the listener into dreamlike phases. It is the perfect compliment to any mellow mood. An amazing album. Becareful with it playing whilst driving though you may forget which highway you happen to be driving on.
