HYPNOSIA – Horror Infernal CD I HATE
We are proud to present the ultimate compilation on all old, great and rare material from one of Sweden’s most important Thrash(Deathrash)-squadrons in modern time; HYPNOSIA. The CD comes with a fat 20 pages booklet filled to the maximum with old pictures, flyers and among the most extensive biographies ever written, courtesy of bandleader Cab. Included are the debut demo, “Crushed Existence”, (1996), “The storms”-demo (1997) and the Mini-album debut, “Violent Intensity”, from 1999. Add to these also extra studio songs from different compilations and more. The material has been carefully remastred in order to loose none of it original roughness & aggression!

REINO ERMITANO – Veneración del Fuego CD I HATE

Veneración del Fuego is Peruvian Reino Ermitaño’s fourth album (the 2nd on I HATE) and it features heavy and organic doom metal with a raw and aggressive edge, bringing back 70’s heavy rock & trad doom. The vintage sound should appeal to fans of Sabbath, Pentagram, Vitus and Pagan Altar.

REALMBUILDER – Fortifications of the Pale Architect CD I HATE
The second full-length from the Americans. Grandiose yet unpretentious epic metal bringing to mind times gone by and bands from that age (Cirith Ungol, Manilla Road, Legend (US), Thin Lizzy). They’ve refined the sound that made their debut LP such an endearing endeavor and also take a doomier route on occasion this time.

MEMORY DRIVEN – Animus CD I HATE
Oklahoma based progressive doom metal band Memory Driven was formed in 2008 by renowned doom metal musician Dennis Cornelius (Revelation, Place of Skulls, Oversoul, Under the Sun, and many more…), who recruited a long-time collaborator, guitarist Chris Greenway, and also bassist David Newcomb and drummer Tim Mansfield. The band was immediately signed by I HATE and the debut full-length album “Relative Obscurity” was released in 2009. In 2011 they recorded their second full-length album ”Animus”. Musically the album is a progression from previous works with current influences in the mix as is usual for anything Dennis Cornelius has ever done. In his own words the music is a nice blend of Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Alice in Chains and Revelation. All the lyrics were written by Cornelius and they mostly deal with forgiveness, balance, and how people treat each other. It was his way of clearing the air so to speak. The band truly feels “Animus” is
the first album fully realized by Memory Driven and are very pleased with the outcome. The title itself means “courage” in Latin as “Cor” – which was also the name of a band Dennis Cornelius and Chris Greenway were in – meant “heart” and the first Cor demo was titled “Memory Driven” so everything has a connection. In the realm of progressive doom metal, Memory Driven stands shoulder to shoulder with the best of them and “Animus” is arguably the most accomplished recording the band members have been involved with to date.

THE WOUNDED KINGS - In the Chapel of the Black Hand CD I HATE
An ending is just a beginning. Returning from the brink, with band members leaving to pursue other careers or family lives, founding member Steve Mills puts together an all new lineup to deliver four tracks of epic and apocalyptic doom under the title of ‘In the Chapel of the Black Hand’. This new phase in the development of The Wounded Kings features the dark and chilling vocals of Sharie Neyland along with one of the heaviest rhythm sections in South West England. Despite, or because of, the hardships the Kings determination and
unique vision for heavy music remains as strong as ever. ‘In the Chapel of the Black Hand’ was recorded in the beautiful Welsh Valleys at the legendary Foel Studios with Chris Fielding (Primordial, Napalm Death, Serpent Venom and Conan) at the helm and the music undulates with vintage amplification and is swathed in Hammond organ, Mellotron and choirs – things fans have come to love and expect. Preserved is also one of the band’s strongest points which is their ability to transport the listener to all the horrific places a mind is able to imagine. Whilst the previous two albums (‘Embrace of the Narrow House’ (2008) and ‘The Shadow Over Atlantis’ (2010)) were bleak and full of despair, ‘In the Chapel of the Black Hand’ is seething with menace and danger. It is a journey to ghostly worlds – suffocating and claustrophobic – where ancient terrors slowly seep into the bloodstream. The listener will be grateful to get out alive with
their soul and sanity intact – just as it should be.

JEX THOTH – Totem MCD I HATE
Finally the CD version of the debut “Totem” MCD I HATE released in 2007 but now under the JEX THOTH moniker according to the band's wishes. A must have!

BLACK OATH – The Third Aeon CD I HATE
There must be something in the soil that makes bands from Italy alluringly off-kilter. The country certainly has a rich and colourful – if dark can be considered a colour –history of occult music: From the obscure experiments of progressive rock band Jacula to the heavy and doomed metal sounds of acts such as Death SS, Black Hole, Paul Chain Violet Theatre and Zess. Yes, we can all agree upon the fact that some are more famous than others but all are just as important to the band in question here. Originating from this bottomless cauldron of talent and fascinated by the mysteries of life and death and all the horrors the imagination can conjure up – the occult and the macabre – Black Oath are on a pursuit to bring the secrets of spectres to ears eager to listen. The certain degree of anonymity the band demonstrates only appears natural under these circumstances -the unknown horror is always the most intriguing. So with lyrical themes and an image such as this Black Oath’s music of choice was naturally Doom metal, or perhaps it is more accurately described as traditional Epic Doom metal with a strong penchant for the legendary early albums by Candlemass. These influences – the mournful sounds pioneered by the Swedes and the conspicuously strong Italian musical heritage – are consistently woven together to create doomed music that any fan of the genre cannot hope to ignore. By supporting the band you have signed the Black Oath...

PROTECTOR - ECHOES FROM THE PAST CD I HATE
Protector's classic -86 two-track demo, -87 "Misanthropy" MLP and -88 "Golem" LP on one CD! The material has NOT been re-mastered in order to preserve the devastating rawness of the songs! The running time is 68:22 minutes on a total of 18 tracks! The 24 page booklet is crammed with exclusive photos and comes with an extensive biography written by original singer Martin Missy covering the complete history of the band up to this day! Get this essential and massive piece of German Thrash Metal history!

RISE AND SHINE – Empty Hand CD I HATE
Since the inception in 1993 Swedish Rise and Shine has paved a way of their own for their version of 70’s Heavy/Psych/Doom Rock. Despite their roots being ever audible (think SABBATH, THE OBSESSED/SPIRIT CARAVAN, PENTAGRAM, TROUBLE) RISE AND SHINE has always sounded like RISE AND SHINE and no one else. The reason for their uniqueness is spelled Josabeth Leidi. Josabeth has a sky clad, emotionally charged voice echoing Joplin and a pathos that nears that of Faithfull, with which she delivers the bands spot on lyrics darkly, but always with a glimmer of light, for the sake of contrast. Empty Hand is released in April, is Rise and Shine’s fourth album proper and will not disappoint any fan of honest, heavy and groovy Rock!

REALMBUILDER - Summon the Stone Throwers CD I HATE
True epic metal that doesn’t rely on gimmicks or technical bravura, but well-arranged songs featuring creative riffs, tasty solos and dramatic yet earnest vocals. The band has carved out a unique heavy metal persona and although they are not a doom metal band, the spaciousness and cumulative progressions often found in that genre are things they appreciate and try to achieve with their mostly mid-paced and occasionally slow epic metal music. They want their songs to conjure an old lost world wherein men’s battles are set against fantastical and regal and ruined landscapes.

HELLISH CROSSFIRE – Bloodrust Scythe CD I HATE
Four years have passed since HELLISH CROSSFIRE´s first full-length-sign of life – “Slaves of the Burning Pentagram” – put the group’s name among the leaders of the German traditional Thrash metal scene!
Now the time has finally come to unleash the second black plague upon the earth!
The new album “Bloodrust Scythe” is here to satisfy the need for RAW, FILTHY fucking Thrash metal in the Teutonic 1986-vein! One of the group’s biggest strengths is to come up with compositions that reek of hooks and memorable refrains, worthy in comparison with old German Speed/Thrash heroes like for instance Living Death, Iron Angel and Violent Force + old Sodom, Poison (Ger) and old Darkness (Ger).
The Thrashing Reaper strikes again!

COUNT RAVEN - Mammons War CD I HATE
The Raven is reborn in truth witnessing the release of “Mammons War”. “Mammon” itself is a term that was used to describe greed, avarice, and unjust worldly gain. This tells the listener the band still relates their frustrations and unhappiness with social injustices and how senseless the world truly is - especially today. No excuses are being made or offered. Old fans shouldn’t be disappointed by this album musically either. There is of course a lot of maturity behind the dirges which augments the anger, disappointment and weariness at a flawed world, but in sound they’re as timeless as ever, from the traditionally styled riffs to the Ozzy sounding vocals of Fodde. Hardly has there ever been another band tapping so close to the pure essence of doom metal. The Raven flies again, stronger and more inspired than ever, and the world is once again cast under its shadow.

THE WOUNDED KINGS – The Shadow over Atlantis CD I HATE
The Wounded Kings merge Britain's occult heritage with the fragile spirit of the human condition and produce a unique blend of spectral doom and psychedelic horror. Musically all the hallmarks from the debut are still evident, the eerie choirs, pianos and the use of space within the riffs, but with The Shadow Over Atlantis they have chosen to create an even darker edge, a desolate end of the world vibe filled with suffocating heaviness, certainly accentuating the doom part in doom metal.

ROOT – Zjevení CD I HATE
Being persecuted and oppressed by the communist Czechoslovakian government and real difficulties obtaining a proper studio and reasonable recording equipment - the most miserable conditions imaginable really - didn’t stop Root from making one of the most evil and individualistic black metal creations ever, with rotten riffs stinking of the old and grey Eastern Bloc in the most positive sense. It wouldn’t be misguided to name them Bathory from behind the Iron Curtain. "Zjevení" is a definite must for fans of early primitive black metal and our re-release comes enhanced with a new and improved layout and several bonus tracks from the Root-archives.

MINOTAUR – God May Show You Mercy…We Will Not CD I HATE
Germany's MINOTAUR was formed in 1983 by three young musicians wanting to play really fast and aggressive metal, the sort that bands like SLAYER, DARK ANGEL and POSSESSED played. After releasing three demos in '86 and '87 and appearing on the "Teutonic Invasion Part I" sampler released by Roadrunner Records to much critical acclaim the band self-financed and produced a debut album called "Power of Darkness" in 1988. Characteristic of the Teutonic school of unmitigated violent thrash metal this is a genre classic, never mind the fact of it not often being mentioned in the same circles as albums by more well-known German thrashers. It's been a long time coming but what you now hold in your hand is MINOTAUR's new album! Yes, it's been more than 20 years since "Power of Darkness" but the band has the same righteous and inexorable attitude towards playing real metal, as it was in the 80's, and it pays to use the same producer as in '88 because they sound just as raw, intense and uncompromising as they did then. Minotaur Thrash the way only Germans can! No one will be spared!

ROOT – Hell Symphony CD I HATE
“Hell Symphony” is ROOT’s seminal second album from 1992, one of the most evil and original sounding black metal recordings of all time, each song a hymn to one of the many guises of the Prince of Darkness. The band’s activities coincided with the then recent spurt of second wave black metal but ROOT’s sound didn’t have much in common with these other bands. Theirs was a road of individuality, an approach unlike any other, before or after them. Much of this had to do with great and versatile vocals of Big Boss. The band tried English lyrics for the first time and although their grasp of the language was tenuous at best they get the point across being very liturgical and plain evil. “Hell Symphony” is the soundtrack for your journey to the very bowels of hell. Easily amongst the best and most influential abominations to come out of Eastern Europe ever!
3 + 2 bonus tracks added to the re-release.

FORSAKEN – After the Fall CD I HATE
Doom metal band Forsaken has remained one of the most consistent and long-standing bands in Malta's metal scene. Formed in 1990, the acclaimed first demo was released in 1991 and led to a great deal of interest in the band and the release of a 7" entitled "Virtues of Sanctity" by French independent label Arkham Productions two years later. After concentrating on and perfecting their live show for a couple of years the band signed to Maltese record label Storm Records and released their debut album "Evermore" in 1997, a more traditional heavy metal oriented record. After a couple of years of tribulations the band regrouped and decided on returning to the epic doom metal sound for which they are most recognized. They recorded and released their second demo simply titled "Demo 2002" and were promptly signed by Scottish Golden Lake Productions which led to the subsequent releases of an MCD, "Iconoclast" (2002), a second album called "Anima Mundi" (2004) and
a third full-length, "Dominaeon" (2005). Golden Lake also re-released "Evermore" in 2005.
"After the Fall" is thus Forsaken's fourth opus released by I HATE and is utterly grandiose, heartfelt and compelling epic doom. The masterful, dynamic musical density together with the religious and deeply allegorical lyrics, dealing with Christian doctrines, combine into a very sacrosanct nature. Not that this album treads lightly on the floor of the Temple of Doom. Nay, it's heavier than a thousand old Bibles and the 15th century printing press with which they were made; burdening the shoulders of all men, the penitent and the defiant sinners alike. How can that leave any true doom enthusiast disappointed? It comes perfectly packaged, topped off with the beautiful cover artwork made by Jowita Kaminska

JEX THOTH - S/t CD I HATE
An ominously beautiful, sonic odyssey through an archipelago of psychedelia, occultism
and alchemy with siren Jex at the helm is available from us on the day that doesn't
exist...Twelve tracks standing effortlessly clear of the mere 60?s/70?s retro tag but
that, nevertheless, will shock and shake fans of Black Widow, Jefferson Airplane,
Pentagram and Amon Düül 2. Alchemical Doom is imminent! The otherworldly artwork evoked
by Albert Witchfinder(Reverend Bizarre) is printed on creamy white natural paper
enhancing the beauty of this release even further.

EVOKEN - A Caress of the Void CD I HATE
Our heaviest and most abysmal release to date has been unleashed!
We are extremely pleased with the outcome of EVOKEN's many hours spent in the studio and without blushing we can proudly state that this is the bands best work to date and will leave no fan disappointed.
EVOKEN are, together with THERGOTHON, WINTER and DISEMBOWELMENT, the originators of the Doom/Death scene, a scene we have hitherto never ventured into.
The album, tentatively called "A Caress Of the Void", proves to be the heaviest and most abysmal EVOKEN opus yet and no old fan will be disappointed: the game here is still Dark & Abysmally Desolate Doom/Death that comes off as the long, cold nails of death slowly being hammered into your coffin's lid...

VULCANO - Tales from the Black Book CD I HATE

After the successful CD release of “Anthropophagy” and the Vulcano / Nifelheim split I HATE has the honour of re-releasing Brazilian legend Vulcano's comeback album “Tales from the Black Book”. Originally from 2004 this is the first time the album is released outside of South America.
Unlike many other comebacks, this one has really brought about something interesting. Luckily the band has kept the old raw sound, the feeling is surely there! Anyone seriously into raw Thrash & South American metal should kill to get hold of this disc!

BURNING SAVIOURS - S/T CD I HATE
Fans of 70’s Sabbath, PENTAGRAM, WITCHFINDER GENERAL, SAINT VITUS as well as ZEPPELIN, HENDRIX, ROKY ERICKSON and JETHRO TULL are in for a real treat here. The eight songs on BURNING SAVIOURS self titled debut have a groovy folk-vibe to them and an earthiness that few bands in today’s scene are able to match. The voice of Andrei Amartinesei is a perfect mixture between Bobby Liebling of Pentagram and Zeeb Parkes (Witchfinder General). A must have, of course. Re-issue with improved layout.

ROOT – The Book CD I HATE
On this (their fifth) album ROOT began taking their style into a more sophisticated territory of tenebrous, epic and original-sounding metal - “The Book” - the dark, occult and totally hypnotic album, a passage into a world where mortals fear to tread, a pit of uncanny esotericism that entices the listener and immerses you completely with its sheer creativity, just like any good tale would. Big Boss’ delivered his most spectacular performance to date, using his diverse vocal skills to the fullest, and the band was in its most inspired mode writing varied songs all keeping the eerie sense of journeying through torch-lit caverns reeking of sulfur to the very bowels of hell. Or if “The Satanic Bible” had been composed into music the hymnal “The Book” would have been the result. Either way, this is a work of mystifying art. As with many bands from the Eastern Bloc ROOT were not actively promoted outside their home country and for that reason they are not as renowned as they should be, remaining a cult favourite all too few have heard, but all that is about to change. “The Book” is a matter of course for individuals abiding in the nether regions of atmospheric black metal, doom metal and the darkest of progressive and heavy metal. The strength of this album lies in its ability to appeal to any number of people. I HATE’s re-release comes with a new improved layout and features exclusive bonus songs from the Root-archives.

JEX THOTH - Witness MCD I HATE
This MCD contains three new songs -- two original compositions and a cover song that fluidly flow into a mellow psychedelia with proto-doom metal influences stemming from the 60s and 70s. “Witness” is perhaps less guitar oriented than before with the mood becoming more melancholy in the process; the music is heavy yet laid back and openly nostalgic without being sentimental or trite. The band’s biggest strengths are the haunting vocals of Jex and avoiding the usual trap of carbon copying its predecessors. As such this MCD should appeal fans of pastoral, psychedelic rock/metal with a firm footing in the past but not necessarily dwelling there -- timeless, really.

CRUX – Rev Smrti CD I HATE
CRUX was founded by bass player Roman Kríbek (also in DENET) and guitar player Petr “Blackosh“ Hošek (also in ROOT) in Czechoslovakia sometime between 1988-89. Later drummer René ”Evil“ Kostelník joined the band and in December 1991, about a year after the fall of the Communist regime, the three recorded the 7 track demo REV SMRTI. The demo became a perfect, audible example of the pressure years of Communistic oppression had built up inside the young Czech’s. REV SMRTI is a total outburst of dark creativity and sheer aggression, a Thrashing Blackness roaring along with ROOT’s magnificient Zjeveni, the fantastic Ritual by MASTERS HAMMER and BATHORY’s unparalleled The Return!
The promotion of this tape was made in the usual underground fashion through tape trading, local club gigging and in reviews in small, obscure zine’s. Still the band never really took off to the next level, and the main reason for this was that ROOT took more and more of Blackosh’s time, until he decided to quit CRUX, and Evil soon followed him to ROOT, leaving Roman on his own. Time passed and in 2000 the very obscure and sought after demo was re-released by LEVIATHAN RECORDS, who used a demo copy for this purpose. The versions of REV SMRTI that I Hate now proudly release is from the original master tape, needless to say resulting in a superior sound compared to the 2000 re-release. In addition the CD comes with 4 bonus tracks, extensive biography, lots of exclusive pictures and lyrics for the songs, all in a 20 page booklet. The I Hate re-release of Rev Smrti will once and for all cement the name of CRUX in the line of famous Czech Metal acts such as ROOT, TÖRR and MASTERS HAMMER!

WALL OF SLEEP - ...And Hell Followed With Him CD I HATE
Finally the new WoS is released, surely a serious contender for the best doom album of the year!
All fans of Pale Divine, Place of Skulls and for that matter WoS Rejoice!

CENTURIONS GHOST - The Great Work CD I HATE
Once again audible gold is transformed into grimy lead through pure metalchemy!
CATHEDRAL, LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR, USURPER and ENTOMBED fans rejoice! A sign of things to come was just that, here’s The Great Work! The rawness is still intact and the Doom element is preserved, meaning this is a mammoth beast of pure METAL that is picking the best (body)parts from all TRUE METAL genres and comes out the other end dripping with posers blood! Will appeal to anyone that at some point in life has given a real METAL band his/her horns-up salute!

SPACE EATER - Merciful Angel CD I HATE
The debut album from Serbian Bay Area Thrashers Space Eater! Totally 80s sounding without beeing close to ripping anyone of. Influences come from for instance very, very, very old Testament and Forbidden (Evil). Amazing stuff!

GREAT COVEN – Viaticum CD I HATE
Spain’s GREAT COVEN performs monumental and TRUE Doom Metal that will sterilize those with insufficient balls! Down tuned and utterly heavy with a mystical, sad aura Viaticum makes us hallucinate of CANDLEMASS/NEMESIS and CELTIC FROST in an unholy union. Previously available on D.I.Y. CD-R only this fantastic piece of gloom is now released in proper packaging with new artwork.

SIEBENSÜNDEN/TERATOLOGEN - Gläd dig du Kristi Luder/Herrens Djuriska njutning CD I HATE
GLÄD DIG DU KRISTI LUDER/HERRENS DJURISKA NJUTNING with TERATOLOGEN’s acid-dripping and poignant lyrics accompanying the miserable audible sloth of SIEBENSÜNDEN's can be seen as an answer to the “righteous” fanatic Christians new morality movement. Put simple it is guaranteed to give you a new angle on the subject of Christian sects and religious indoctrination. That is, if you know Swedish…if not you will still be able to lap up the slowly flowing audible bile which should be a feast for Sludge maniacs, Doomsters, miserable punks, Black Metal misfits and industrial psycho’s alike. The later listener category is also likely to be the ones most fascinated by the sound of SIEBENSUNDEN’s own home made instruments, while the BM aficionados will appreciate the extremely blasphemous message.
Siebensünden equals very obscure Swedish Sludge Core with members of WARCOLLAPSE, FARCIAL, DOM DÄR, COUNTERBLAST and TOLSHOCK. The band has been more or less (more less than more though, ehr…) active for over ten years and have released two full length albums up till the present day.
Nikanor Teratologen is famous in Sweden for the much hated and much loved Äldreomsorgen i Övre Kågedalen book and other classics.
